Camp Floyd Rogers An Exciting Overnight Summer Camp Experience for Youth Living with Diabetes

Camp Floyd Rogers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a unique summer camp experience for children living with diabetes. Located just outside of Cozad, NE, our beautiful campsite offers a wide variety of activities tailored to education, interpersonal relationships, and fun. Our mission is to create a weeklong experience that shapes a lifetime for our campers. ​ We understand the challenges that come with diabetes, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our campers. Our team of trained medical professionals and experienced camp counselors ensure that each camper receives the best care possible. Our campers not only have fun, but they also learn valuable skills to manage their diabetes and gain confidence in their ability to live a fulfilling life with the condition.

Camp training begins Thursday, June 20th. Camp ends on Saturday, June 29th, 2024.

Our Campsite

Our campsite is located in a serene and natural setting just outside of Cozad, NE. The site includes a variety of facilities and amenities to make our campers' stay comfortable and enjoyable. From cabins to dining halls to recreational areas, our campsite has everything our campers need to have a great time while learning valuable life skills.

Carrie has served for many years after being a camper, in various roles at camp.  Carrie, a Mom of two and a career entrepreneur believes that communities like CFR are an integral part of our development and successes as humans and most importantly as Type 1 diabetics.

"Kam" has served 5 years as a counselor and 4 years in leadership roles. With a career background as an art teacher, Kameran values the opportunities CFR has for campers to express themselves.
