ABOUT US

Camp Floyd Rogers is an organization that provides an exciting overnight summer camp experience for youth living with Diabetes. Our mission is to create a fun and educational environment that promotes growth, interpersonal relationships, and lifelong memories. Our camp is held at a beautiful campsite just outside of Cozad, NE. We strive to empower our campers with the tools necessary to manage their diabetes while having fun and making new friends.

OUR FACILITIES at CAMP COMECA

Our campsite offers a wide variety of facilities to ensure the comfort and safety of our campers. We have a fully equipped medical center staffed by trained medical professionals, a dining hall that serves nutritious meals, and comfortable cabins for our campers to rest in after a long day of activities. Our facilities also include a swimming pool, a sports field, and an arts and crafts center.

How far is Cozad From Omaha?

     -  Cozad is approximately three hours from Omaha, NE.

How many campers attend each camp season?

     - Each season approximately 100 campers attend camp

How will my camper be monitored while at camp?

     - Camp Floyd Rogers has a full medical staff consisting of Doctors, Physicians Assistants, Nurses, and assistants. In addition each cabin is            assigned two counselors that remain with them throughout the week. 

When can I apply for camp?

     - A parent of legal guardian can register their camper beginning February 1st of each year. 

When will I receive my acceptance letter?

     - Acceptance letters are sent after April 15th.  Campers are accepted in the order applications were received and in many seasons a waitlist is        initiated.
